"Beautiful Memories" - Memory Lane from 13Arts

 Hi there creative friends!

This week I am sharing a single page, mixed media layout created with the beautiful "Memory Lane" collection from 13Arts and their mixed media products, stamps and stencils. 

This collection is so elegant, perfect for wedding photos. The beautiful girl in the photo is my niece who recently got married. I love the result!

I used some mixed media elements on the background, I splattered with Glow watercolour paint, as well as stamped and stencilled randomly across the page to add some interest.

The Color Glow metallic water colour paint powder is highly pigmented and has a lovely shimmer.

I layered various elements from the Memory Lane ephemera paper elements pack and tags from the bonus sheet behind the photograph. Some layers are raised with cardboard and foam tape.

"Memories" - Sweet Summertime: 13Arts

 Hi there dear Creative Friends!

I came across various examples of this album on Pinterest and thought it was a perfect idea to create an album like this, with the gorgeous "Sweet Summertime" paper collection from 13Arts.

The album is quite easy to construct and can effortlessly be altered to a different size.

We are at the end of the winter here in the southern hemisphere and after an exceptional wet winter, I really cant wait for summer to arrive. Looking at these beautiful papers, I can almost feel and smell summer!

Inside the album

Besides the 12x12 paper pack, I also used mixed media products to create a layered look, both on the covers and inside pages of the album. There are 14 inside pages all together, and the generous amount of paper die cuts make embellishing these pages a pleasure. 

I stencilled with modelling paste and the stunning "Countryside" 6x6 mixed media stencil, (definitely a new favourite!) and splattered generously with Colour Glow paint. (Rose Quarts and Coral Red)

It's been a while since I made a shaker box but when I saw the window image, it was the natural choice!

"Secret Garden" Single page layout for 13 Arts

Hi there Creative Friends!

I am delighted to be Guest Designed for 13Arts the next three months, it is such an honour! Thank you Aida Domisiewicz for the opportunity to play with the gorgeous 13Arts products!

For my first project I chose the "Secret Garden" collection. I love the colour palette, it is definitely one on my favourites. The blues and greens has such a calming feel to it and what can I say but the watercolour effect is gorgeous! 

I wanted some dimension on the background and used the "Dress-circle" Mixed Media Stencil and embossing paste. Then I stamped with some blue chalk and the Bella stamp randomly across the page.

I coloured the chipboard gate with "Soladite" Colour Glow Metallic water-colour paint powder and added paint splatters also randomly across the page.

The focal photo of my daughter  is layered on different papers from the 12x12 Paper Pack and a chipboard gate. 

I finished the layout off with beautiful 13 Arts flowers and ribbon from my stash. And sentiments from the Secret Garden ephemera pack.

"Back in Time" - 13 Arts May Challenge

Hi there dear Creative Friends!

It has been quite a turbulent few months for me on a "heath rollercoaster" but everything is under control now.  I had to take a short break from scrapbooking the past few months but today I felt like playing along with 13Arts and their May 2023 Mood-board challenge on Facebook.  

The deep autumn colours attracted me and I immediately thought of the lovely Industrial Zone collection.

I found this modelling photo of my daughter Electra from years back and it was perfect! I added various layers behind the focal photograph after I stencilled on the background paper.

The chipboard pieces are heat embossed with copper embossing powder. By now you must know that I love small flowers , so I finished the single page layout off withh some beautiful burnt orange flowers!

 

As always, I had a close-up inspection from little Missy, but not to worry, she approved!
