Mintay Papers Stationery Folio

Hi there Creatives!

It was the International Scrapbook Day on 2 May 2020 and the Mintay Dream Team decided to celebrate it we will create a few  fun challenges for you posted on.

I created this lovely Stationery Folio, filled with cards, tags, gift bags and ribbons, also a calendar and a little note book to go into your bag or leave in your car.  I used the beautiful "Bloomville" Collection paper pack. This is such a practical organiser to have and a fabulous gift too!
(This project was inspired by my friend Suzette Giani)

This folio is very simple to make and you can obviously put your own flair to it to personalise it.

I created the cover of the folio with two 9" x 12" pieces of patterned paper, glued together. I rounded the corners and created a small spine by scoring on 5,75" and 6,25" length wise.

The round elastic (28") goes through the eyelets in the spine. The eyelets in the spine are apart as follows: 3/8",3/4", 3,3/8", 3,3/8", 3/4", 3/8".

if you are struggling with the inches, I found this helpful visual explanation recently posted on Facebook by Shamela Hendricks.

I cut 2 loose folders measuring 8" x 11", held into place with the elastic, (scored in the centre) and added a tab. The paper gift bags, doily and envelopes are held in place by the elastic. I created a poach for greeting cards, measuring 3,5" x 4,75", and a paper envelope to keep the ribbon in.

I covered where the elastic joins with a paper flag.

You can fill the Folio with pretty tags and cards made from all the left over paper from your paper pack. And decorate the cover and folders as you wish.

Here are pictures of the inside of my Stationery Folio.

This is just an idea, you can add whatever you desire, like postal stamps, "sticky notes" and even a disposable mask!

I made a short video, paging through the Stationery Folio so you can see how it looks inside.
